Kayaking Wet Exit, Self & Assisted Rescue Practice

Prerequisite: PC Sea Kayaking Level-1 course

This is an opportunity for kayakers to gather together and practice wet exits, self-rescues and assisted rescues.  This is not an instructional session. There will be a demonstration of a wet exit, a self rescue - scramble/cowboy rescue, and an assisted rescue - heel-hook.  Next, everyone will pair off and practice these re-entry skills or any other re-entry skills you'd like to re-familiarize yourself with, including the opportunity to practice using a paddle float and stirrup strap - if you have the gear.  Remember to bring your bilge pump.
